Fuenteseca Reserva Extra Añejo 18 Year is among the longest-aged tequilas commercially available — 100% Blue Weber Highland agave aged 18 years in a combination of American and French oak barrels at NOM 1146 in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, under Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca. Far exceeds the 3-year minimum for Extra Añejo designation.

Fuenteseca’s 18 Year sits between the 15 Year and the 21 Year in the brand’s extended-aging vertical. At this duration, the agave character has substantially transformed under the influence of French oak — dried fruit, oak, and aged-spirit complexity dominate, with the original agave brightness present as undertone rather than foreground.
