Clase Azul is the intersection of two things done at the highest level: premium ultra-slow-cooked tequila and handcrafted ceramic art. Every bottle is individually sculpted and painted by artisans at the brand's facility in Santa María Canchesda, Guerrero — making each decanter genuinely unique. The liquid inside earns the presentation: Clase Azul uses slow-cooked, 100% organic Blue Weber agave, traditional methods, and extended fermentation for remarkable depth.
The slow-cooking process takes 72 hours — nearly twice the industry standard of 36–38 hours — extracting deeper, more complex agave character. Extended fermentation follows, allowing the agave sugars to develop fully before distillation. Every expression is additive-free. Wooden Cork ships the full Clase Azul lineup nationwide.
Clase Azul Plata — The unaged expression. Pure organic agave character — crisp, herbal, and sweet. An exceptional additive-free blanco for sipping or premium cocktails.
Clase Azul Reposado — The flagship. Aged 8 months in American oak whiskey barrels, rich with caramel, vanilla, and agave, poured into the iconic hand-painted white ceramic decanter. One of the best-selling ultra-premium tequilas in the world.
Clase Azul Añejo — Aged 25 months in American oak. Rich, complex, and gift-ready — a significant step up from the Reposado in depth and oak influence.
Clase Azul Ultra — Extra añejo aged over 5 years in sherry, bourbon, and Cognac casks. The pinnacle of the lineup, poured into a platinum, 24-carat gold, and amber-adorned decanter. One of the most exclusive tequilas produced — fewer than 100 bottles per year.
Clase Azul Gold — A blend of Reposado and Extra Añejo aged in sherry and bourbon casks. The Gold decanter features hand-applied gold detailing.
Clase Azul Mezcal Durango & Guerrero — Distilled from wild agave varietals (Cenizo and Cupreata respectively) in hand-painted bottles. An extension of the brand's artisanal approach into the mezcal category.

The price reflects both the liquid and the decanter. Each ceramic bottle is individually handcrafted and painted by Mexican artisans — no two are identical. The tequila itself uses 100% organic agave, ultra-slow cooking (72 hours versus the industry standard of 36–38 hours), extended fermentation, and double distillation with rigorous quality control. Both elements justify the premium.
Yes — the decanters are food-safe and designed to be reused as a decanter, vase, or decorative piece. Many collectors fill them with other spirits or display them as art objects.
Reposado is aged 8 months — caramel, vanilla, and agave in balance. Añejo is aged 25 months — richer and darker, with more pronounced oak, dried fruit, and chocolate. Both are exceptional; the choice depends on how much oak influence you prefer.
Fewer than 100 bottles are produced annually. The Ultra is aged over 5 years in a combination of sherry, bourbon, and Cognac casks, then presented in a decanter adorned with platinum and 24-carat gold. Production is extremely limited by design.
