The Balvenie is one of the last truly traditional Scotch whisky distilleries — one of only a handful that still grows some of its own barley, operates its own floor maltings, employs a cooperage on-site, and maintains a team of craftspeople dedicated to every step of the process. The Balvenie DoubleWood 17 Year — The extended version of the flagship: richer, more complex Sherry influence, deeper dried fruit and spice.
