Released to commemorate the 1826 founding of the distillery by James Allardice, this limited-edition single malt is named after Boynsmill House, the historic Georgian estate at the heart of the distillery. It is a showcase of GlenDronach's revered sherry-forward Highland style: primarily matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalusia, then finished in selected Claret red wine casks. The red wine influence brightens the deep, dark-fruit sherry profile with delicate berry nuances and subtle tannins. Bottled at 46.8% ABV (93.6 proof) with natural color for a rounded, richly sherried sipping experience.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich Christmas cake, candied orange peel, and dark cherry, layered with dark chocolate, polished oak, and roasted almonds.
Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, with dried figs, dates, and dark cherry compote balanced by honeyed malt, warm cinnamon spice, and a touch of espresso.
Finish: Exceptionally long and warming, with sweet dark fruit and baking spice framed by the subtle, dry tannic structure of the Claret casks.
