Bozal — Spanish for "wild" or "untamed" — sources wild agave from the uncultivated lands of Oaxaca, Guerrero, and Durango. Tobalá grows small and slowly in shade among rocks and oak, taking far more piñas to fill a batch, which makes this ancestral-method Reserva especially prized.
