Lalocura San Martinero is a single-varietal mezcal from the Lalocura distillery in Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca — made from 100% San Martinero agave (a less common variety) using ancestral clay-pot distillation by Eduardo Ángeles Carreño.

Lalocura is one of the most respected producers in Santa Catarina Minas, the Oaxacan town known for its ancestral clay-pot distillation tradition. The San Martinero expression isolates this rarer agave variety in its own bottling, made using stone-and-clay ovens, copper-and-clay stills, and rigorously traditional methods.
