The Beacon expression uses a secondary toast finishing process — moving mature Wild Turkey bourbon into lightly toasted barrels for additional maturation, drawing out vanilla, caramel, and baking spice character that the toasted stave imparts without the deeper char influence of heavily charred barrels. The result is a softer, more aromatic finish on Wild Turkey’s signature high-rye bourbon character.
