At 315 metres above sea level in the Monadhliath Mountains, Tomatin is one of Scotland’s highest distilleries. The cooler temperatures and specific mountain conditions combined with the soft Alt-na-Frith water contribute to Tomatin’s characteristic gentle and delicate style, with slower maturation than lowland distilleries.
