It spends three years maturing in used American oak barrels, followed by a remarkable finishing period of approximately eight months in Cognac barrels. The outcome is a whiskey that beautifully marries the characteristics of wheat, rye, and the subtle influence of Cognac barrels, resulting in a remarkably rich and creamy spirit.
