The Macallan Edition Series ran from 2015 (No. 1) through 2020 (No. 6). Each release was developed in collaboration with a notable figure from outside the whisky world — architects, artists, designers — who worked with Macallan's whisky maker to define a flavor brief, which was then achieved through a unique combination of American and European oak casks. No two editions share the same cask specification.
