Kilchoman Family Collection 11 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky 1st Edition

Kilchoman Family Collection 11 Year Old Ex-Sherry Butts is the sherry-matured bottling in the distillery's inaugural 2026 Family Collection — a heavily peated Islay single malt aged entirely in ex-Oloroso sherry butts, bottled at 54.7% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural colour.

Selected by the founding Wills family during their annual review of maturing stock, this expression spends its full maturation in ex-Oloroso sherry butts. Eleven years of aging brings together rich dried fruit, chocolate, oak spice, and Kilchoman's distinctive Islay smoke. It is made using heavily peated barley sourced from Port Ellen Maltings at a malt specification of 50 ppm, with sherry-cask sweetness providing a counterpoint to the smoky spirit — raisins, dark fruit, roasted nuts, and warming spice. The sherry-focused bottling within a collection that also includes 14-, 18-, and 20-year-old expressions.

What does 1st Edition mean?
It identifies the inaugural Family Collection, launched in 2026, featuring casks selected by the founding Wills family, with separate expressions aged 11, 14, 18, and 20 years.
