High West 7000 Vodka — a grain-based vodka from Utah's High West Distillery, filtered through snowmelt water at 7,000 feet elevation in the Wasatch Mountains, producing a crisp, clean spirit with the mineral clarity that only high-altitude water sources deliver.

High West built its reputation on whiskey, but 7000 Vodka extends the distillery's mountain identity into the spirits category most dependent on water quality. The 7,000-foot elevation of the Wasatch Mountains produces snowmelt of exceptional purity — cold, mineral-light, and filtered through granite before it ever reaches the distillery. That water becomes the filtration medium and dilution source for the vodka, contributing a clean, slightly mineral quality that separates 7000 from grain-neutral spirits made with standard municipal water.

Inspired by an old family recipe and built for the spirits drinker who wants the same craft standard from their vodka as their whiskey, 7000 is High West's answer to what a mountain distillery's vodka should taste like.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What makes High West 7000 Vodka different from other vodkas? The water source: Wasatch Mountain snowmelt filtered at 7,000 feet elevation delivers mineral clarity and purity that standard water sources cannot match — the defining characteristic of the vodka's clean, crisp profile.
  • Is 7000 Vodka good for cocktails? Yes — its clean, neutral-forward profile with slight mineral character makes it an excellent cocktail base that doesn't compete with mixers. It performs particularly well in Martinis and vodka sodas where water quality is perceptible.
  • Why does a whiskey distillery make vodka? High West uses the same grain-to-glass distillation expertise that defines their whiskey program — applying craft distillery standards to a category where most production is industrialized.
