This bourbon pays tribute to the earliest days of Bottled-in-bond. Product is made from one distillery, in one distillations season, aged for a minimum of 4 years, and bottled at 100 proof. It is smooth with warm sweet notes of caramel and honey with a long finish.

United StatesMy whiskey of choice has been rye. I have so many friends who are bourbon drinkers that I began to wonder what I might be missing. I did some modest research and selected the 7 year Heaven Hill. Although it will never replace rye on my palette, it is a superbly balanced and aged whiskey. One, that if you are a bourbon drinker and have not sampled, you most definitely should!
