Hardin's Creek 8 Year High Distillation Profile is a Kentucky straight bourbon exploring the upper end of the low-wine distillation range — a 120-proof first-distillation target, aged eight years and bottled at 109 proof.

Part of a three-expression Distillation Series from James B. Beam Distilling Co., the High expression changes only the first-distillation setting while keeping the same mash bill and fermentation as the Low and Middle bottlings. After eight years of aging and bottling at 54.5% ABV (109 proof), it takes a brighter flavor direction — orchard fruit, apple, citrus, floral honey, and wood spice — an engaging contrast to the Low's darker richness and the Middle's rounded vanilla and toffee.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Orchard fruit, fresh apple, and floral honey.
Palate: Bright apple and citrus notes with light honey sweetness.
Finish: Delicate wood spice and a lighter fruit impression.
