The commemorative back label reads "Raise a Glass to the Man Who Raised You Well," with "Happy Father's Day 2024 — OESV | 16 Years" beneath it. The Father's Day selection was drawn from more than one barrel, so the age statement and the label are shared across the release while the whiskey in each bottle is not — every barrel came out at its own proof.

OESV combines the E mashbill — 75% corn, 20% rye, 5% malted barley — with the V yeast strain. Four Roses calls it the most subtle of the ten recipes: delicate fruit and caramel, light pear and apricot balanced against corn and rye rather than heavy spice or florals. That restraint is exactly why OESV barrels are the ones most often held back for long aging, and sixteen years sits well beyond where most Private Selection barrels are dumped.
