The 1978 vintage already represents the oldest Eagle Rare in the Wooden Cork collection as a standalone quart. The 1.75-liter format with swing stopper is an entirely different tier: over 45 years old, in the largest standard bottle format, with the original swing closure mechanism intact. Half-gallon bottles from this era in this condition are extraordinarily scarce.
