The Crown Royal Deluxe is a blend of 50 Crown Royal's own Canadian rye, corn, and barley whiskeys that is distinctly smooth and 100% Canadian.

The distillery in Gimli, Manitoba stands on a 360-acre property and holds 1.5 million barrels of whiskey today. Using the finest Canadian ingredients, Lake Winnipeg's limestone-filtered water, and 12 distillation columns, they create the 50 whiskeys that make up their signature blend. 5 recipes go into making it and the liquids are aged for various amounts of time in used and first-fill charred oak barrels which are subject to the extreme temperature changes of the climate. After the whiskeys have been expertly aged, they are blended meticulously. Crown Royal Deluxe is the purest representation of that process and what they have on offer, as well as the backbone of most of their expressions.

TASTING NOTES

The rich nose has vanilla, maple syrup, fruity notes, and just a touch of nuttiness. The palate follows with a smooth creaminess with oak, vanilla, rye spice, and some dried-fruit sweetness. Finishes medium-long.

Crown Royal History

In 1939, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth made history when they became the first reigning monarchs to journey across North America, traveling from Quebec City to Vancouver by train. Prior to their arrival, a local entrepreneur set out to craft a whiskey that the King and Queen could enjoy in the privacy of their rail car. After sampling over 600 different blends and sifting through hundreds of different types of glass, labels, and bottles, the entrepreneur created what he believed to be the perfect whiskey and called it Crown Royal. At the beginning of their journey, the King and Queen were gifted ten cases of the whiskey from Canada to enjoy on their journey.

The Crown Royal Flavor Series expressions are four flavored whiskies of Crown Royal, including Maple, Salted Caramel, Vanilla, and Peach. Crown Royal is crafted from some of the purest water sourced from Lake Winnipeg, naturally filtered through the limestone beneath and a grain blend of rye, corn, and barley. Approximately 80% of the grain used in production is sourced from Manitoba and the surrounding area. Crown Royal’s signature blend is distilled through twelve distillation columns. After the whiskies have been expertly aged, they are blended meticulously.

Order for crown Royal

I placed an order for 3 half gallon bottles of crown royal. They arrived in a reasonable time but what impressed me was how well each bottles was wrapped. The chance of breakage was almost impossible. I ordered two bottles of vodka from another company and they arrived broken and I'm still trying to get my refund.

liquor delivery in PA

Wooden Cork did a good job. Never ordered liquor on line and they did exactly what they said they would do. Shipping was a bit expensive but worth it in the long run
