Buffalo Trace White Dog Mash #1 375ml
In Kentucky, buffalo carved a pathway followed by America’s first explorers. Those brave pioneers distilled whiskey using traditional methods and drank it right off the still. They called it White Dog. This raw distillate was clear, un-aged and had a hint of sweet corn. Later distillers discovered this spirit was perfect for aging - creating what we know today as fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. We’re still making whiskey on the spot where ancient buffalo once crossed the Kentucky River and following centuries of time-honored distilling tradition. Enjoy this White Dog the way Americans did more than 200 years ago.
Sweet aroma, with a slight burn. The corn coats the tongue with oil and vanilla.
The oldest continuously operating distillery in America also happens to have one of the largest families of homegrown brands in any industry. Led by our namesake and flagship brand, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, the line includes several brands, collections and expressions that have earned some of the highest accolades the industry offers.
From the Van Winkle collection to Benchmark, from O.F.C. Vintages to Freddie’s Old Fashioned Soda—the Buffalo Trace Distillery family of brands is at once a tribute to tradition and thoughtful experimentation.

Man......how to describe this. #1 it shows you what a whiskey is before it hits the barrel. #2 White lighting, no its not Moonshine...its better. The first sip will knock the popcorn into your Sutton. But the second sip will start peeling back complex layers of taste. Past the corn, past the barley, past the Rye. The third and forth sip are sooo rewarding....after the 10th sip at 124 proof, i forget. #3 No matter how your first few sips hit you, you cant let it go. Beginner to aficionado i have found my guests still come back to wanting just one more sip of this. The quality is buffalo trace, unassuming and good.
Since this was made by Buffalo Trace I knew it would be good, but it exceeded my expectations, had my friend over for a drink and he was wowed by the experience so I gave him my extra bottle, thank you so much for having this and Buffalo Trace its just the best as is Wooden Cork.
It is a high proof white whiskey. Best one I have had (better corn flavor) but still not something I’m going to sit down and sip. Bought out of curiosity to see what one of my favorite whiskeys tasted like before it was barreled.
Glad I purchased it. It arrived fairly quick during the current situation. Very happy with the purchase. Service was great.
It went as I expected. Just the way youd want it to. Still haven't opened it.
