La Rochere Bee Tumbler Assorted Set of 4 is a set of four colored glass tumblers from La Rochere — France's oldest glassworks, established in 1475 — adorned with the historic French bee symbol, a motif that graced royal fabrics, rugs, and furniture and is preserved at the Carnavalet Museum in Paris, presented in four colors inspired by the Mediterranean and Provence: emerald, Provence green, blue, and lavender.
La Rochere has operated continuously in the Haute-Saône region of eastern France since 1475 — over 550 years of uninterrupted glassmaking. The bee emblem carries particular historical significance in French culture: the bee was Napoleon's personal emblem and a symbol of French royalty, used extensively on imperial fabrics and furnishings in the 19th century. La Rochere's Bee collection gives the motif a vibrant contemporary expression in the colors of Provence and the Mediterranean. Each tumbler is dishwasher safe and suitable for water, wine, cocktails, or spirits.
