Bardstown Bourbon Company Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish is a limited 2026 blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskeys finished 32 months in single malt Scotch casks from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 104 proof.
Lochs of Jura brings together mature American whiskey and casks from the remote Isle of Jura, Scotland. Bardstown created a bespoke blend of straight bourbon and rye, then transferred it into barrels that previously matured Jura single malt Scotch — an unusually long 32-month finish designed to fully integrate the American whiskey with the residual single malt character. The finishing program uses 84% ex-bourbon and 16% ex-sherry Scotch casks, layering caramel and American whiskey spice with ripe fruit, soft malt, subtle smoke, and maritime character. Bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof), it earned 99 points and Best American Whiskey at the 2026 International Wine & Spirit Competition, with label artwork by Louisville artist Margaret Archambault.
