Barrell Bourbon Batch 028 is a cask-strength blended bourbon hand-selected and married by Joe Beatrice from 10 and 11-year-old barrels in the Barrell inventory — built from three distinct sub-groups: an aroma-forward group with tropical fruit, citrus zest, and exotic spice character (driving the nose); a richer mid-palate group with sweet almond-like body; and a peppery, tannic group adding backbone and woodsy, earthy depth. The final blend lets each component contribute to the finished whole.
