Glenfarclas — a Speyside single malt from one of Scotland's last family-owned independent distilleries, matured exclusively in sherry casks for 17 years to produce the rich butterscotch, orange, and sherried fruit character that Glenfarclas has maintained as its house style since 1865.

Glenfarclas (Gaelic for 'valley of the green grass') has been owned by the Grant family since 1865 — six generations of the same family have maintained a consistent commitment to full-sherry-cask maturation without the trend-chasing cask finishing that characterizes much of the contemporary Scotch industry. The Speyside distillery sits on the slopes of Ben Rinnes in the Livet Valley, drawing water from mountain springs for a production that has changed little in over 150 years.
