Frequently Asked Questions
How often does Wooden Cork add new markdowns?
Markdown pricing is added on a rolling basis as inventory is updated — discontinued expressions, seasonal selections, and overstocked bottles are marked down when they become available for clearance. The collection is not updated on a fixed schedule, so checking regularly is the most reliable way to catch new discounts. High-demand marked-down bottles (particularly allocated bourbon and premium tequila) sell through quickly once discounted.
Are marked-down bottles still full quality?
Yes — all Wooden Cork inventory is stored in climate-controlled conditions and marked down for commercial reasons (discontinued expressions, overstocked SKUs, seasonal rotation) rather than quality issues. Markdowns on spirits are common across retail — a bottle of Scotch or tequila marked down by 20–30% is the same liquid as the full-price version. Every order ships with adult-signature delivery and standard Wooden Cork packaging.
