This is the Ultra Rare WhistlePig The Boss Hog The “Skinny” Black Prince. There are not many of these coveted bottles left. For the Ultimate BossHog Collector!

Based in Vermont, WhistlePig produces some of the most ambitious rye whiskey releases in the country. Their Boss Hog series are the boldest batches, and the fourth edition, dubbed "The Black Prince" is the reigning champion.

The name says it all. This is our biggest, most profound whiskey for the Boss Hog in all of us.

This IVth. edition of The Boss Hog, The Black Prince, is a tribute to the great spirits of Europe.

This is the first Rye Whiskey ever finished in Armagnac casks, straight from France. The result is extraordinary. A fine balance between American power and French sophistication. There’s nothing else like it.

Nose: Armagnac-accented oak contributes to the Black Prince being redolent with notes of apricot, fig, and plum.

Palate: Apricot, clove, and cinnamon, with hints of citrus and black tea.

Finish: Linger like the longing for a lost love, comforts with traces of toasted marshmallows, burnt sugar, and dried fruit.

Unfortunately, we can't ship to PO Boxes and APO addresses.

The best of the best

This great whiskey was distilled in the worlds tallest continuous still (6 stories) in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, a community that has 160 years of experience distilling great whiskeys. Then WhistlePig finished it in selected casks and produced that “Best of show” result over 2,200 competitors. It is a marvelous and very rare whiskey. Good luck trying to find a bottle.
