Kilchoman Family Collection 20 Year Old Ex-Bourbon Barrels is the distillery's first globally available 20-year-old and its oldest general release at launch — headlining the inaugural 2026 Family Collection, bottled at 49.9% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural colour.

A milestone for the Islay distillery, introduced in 2026 with casks selected by the founding Wills family during their annual review of maturing stock. Made using heavily peated barley from Port Ellen Maltings at approximately 50 ppm, the whisky matures entirely in ex-bourbon barrels for two decades; extended aging develops honeyed malt, fruit, vanilla, and mature oak around softened coastal smoke, with notes of baked apple, beeswax, citrus, and toasted coconut revealing a distinctive side of mature Kilchoman.
