D'USSÉ VSOP Jay-Z30 Limited Edition is a commemorative release celebrating Jay-Z's 30th anniversary in the music industry — the same D'USSÉ VSOP cognac (carefully selected eaux-de-vie aged a minimum of four and a half years in Limousin oak at Château de Cognac, est. 1494) in a specially designed bottle honoring three decades of one of hip-hop's most significant artistic careers. D'USSÉ was founded as a joint venture between Jay-Z and Bacardi, launched in 2012 and produced at the historic Château de Cognac in the Grande Champagne cru. The VSOP expression uses eaux-de-vie from all four Cognac crus selected by Maître de Chai Michel Casavecchia, aged a minimum of four and a half years in Limousin oak for the rounded dried fruit, vanilla, and warming spice that defines the house style. The Jay-Z30 designation marks 30 years since Reasonable Doubt (1996) established Jay-Z as a defining voice in hip-hop — making this release a significant collector's item for both cognac enthusiasts and fans of the artist's legacy. The bottle design reflects the anniversary milestone.
