St. George Absinthe Verte is a craft absinthe from St. George Spirits in Alameda, California — built on a base of fine brandy and a botanical blend, opening with bold black licorice that evolves into citrus and grassy notes with a hint of sarsaparilla. Rich and viscous with abundant essential oils, even at 120 proof.

Founded in 1982, St. George Spirits grew from an eau-de-vie distillery into one of America’s most respected craft operations. Its Absinthe Verte was the first absinthe legally distilled in the United States after the spirit’s long prohibition was lifted. The botanical lineup includes star anise, mint, wormwood, lemon balm, hyssop, meadowsweet, basil, fennel, tarragon, and stinging nettles.
