Bernardino Branca invents Fernet-Branca, a bitter that will make history. From domestic production to the opening of a production facility in Corso di Porta Nuova: Milan is the place where one of the most entrepreneurial adventures is to be born.

Branca celebrates 170 years. An accomplishment for the company and its soul: the product. For the occasion a gift was given to the city of Milan: an modern interpretation of the old chimney in the production facilities in Via Resegone: a street art work that overlooks the city with a mix of colours and images that remind us of the spices and bottle of Fernet-Branca. For the occasion, Branca has published with Rizzoli the monograph “Branca, on the wings of excellence”, recognized as best publication of the year by the “Osservatorio Monografie Italiane (OMI)”

For the 170 years since the foundation, the Ministery of economic development recognizes Branca’s production excellence by releasing a limited edition stamp. .
