Dolin Génépy le Chamois Liqueur is the legendary alpine herbal liqueur from the Dolin distillery in Chambéry, Savoie — crafted since 1821 from a blend of 30 alpine herbs led by Génépy (a petite variety of artemesia, also called mountain sage) sourced from the high mountains of Savoy. The fresh, bright alpine character has made it a fixture in French ski resorts and fine dining for two centuries.

Génépy is a category of alpine herbal liqueur in its own right within French and Italian Alps tradition, with the Dolin expression being one of the foundational commercial bottlings. Dolin produces the liqueur using local farmer-sourced herbs and the distillery’s own alembic still, preserving traditional methods that have made le Chamois a defining alpine bitter liqueur. Works on the rocks, with tonic water, or as a digestif after dinner.
