Briottet Crème de Cassis de Dijon is the flagship product of Edmond Briottet in Dijon, France (est. 1836) — made from Noir de Bourgogne black currants sourced from four local fields in Dijon, harvested in July. Cassis de Dijon is the historic Burgundy regional liqueur traditionally used to make the Kir cocktail, with over 50% of Briottet’s total production dedicated to this benchmark expression.

Briottet is one of the oldest French liqueur houses, with the Crème de Cassis de Dijon recognized as a defining example of the regional Burgundian liqueur tradition. Best used in the Kir (with white Burgundy), the Kir Royale (with Champagne), or the Kir Pétillant (with crémant) — and excellent drizzled over vanilla ice cream or paired with cheese.
