The Don Julio 1942, Reposado & Añejo Gift Pack brings together three 375ml bottles covering the core Don Julio aging lineup — anchored by the iconic 1942 — in a compact gift format ideal for tasting, gifting, or introducing someone to the full Don Julio range.
Don Julio was founded by Don Julio González in 1942 in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco — at the time a revolutionary approach, planting agave in widely-spaced rows rather than the tight rows standard at the time, giving each plant more nutrients and producing a richer, more concentrated agave character. The 1942 commemorates that founding year and has become the most recognized luxury tequila bottle in the world. All three expressions in this pack use 100% Blue Weber agave from the Jalisco highlands.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Don Julio 1942 the most recognized luxury tequila?
Don Julio 1942 was created in 2002 to honor the 60th anniversary of Don Julio González’s founding of the distillery in 1942. Its distinctive tall, narrow bottle and minimum 2.5 years of aging in American white oak at the premium price point established it as the benchmark luxury tequila for gifting and celebration. No other tequila at its price point has comparable brand recognition globally.
How do the three expressions differ?
All three use 100% Blue Weber agave from the Jalisco highlands. The difference is aging: Reposado is 8 months — balanced and cocktail-versatile. Añejo is 18 months — richer and more complex, designed for sipping. 1942 is minimum 2.5 years — the most aged and concentrated of the three, with the most developed caramel and vanilla from extended barrel time.
