1800 Añejo is the extended-age expression in the 1800 core lineup — 100% Blue Weber highland agave aged up to three years in a combination of American and French oak barrels, developing the rich caramel, dried fruit, and warm spice complexity that positions it as a genuine sipping añejo rather than a cocktail base.

At up to three years of dual-oak aging, the 1800 Añejo develops a significantly more complex and oak-integrated character than the Reposado's two-month rest. The American oak contributes caramel, vanilla, and toasted grain; the French oak adds spice, dried fruit, and structure. At the upper end of the legal añejo window, the expression bridges everyday añejo accessibility and the ultra-premium extra añejo tier represented by the Milenio. Frequently Asked Questions

How does 1800 Añejo compare to 1800 Reposado?

Significantly more complex and oak-forward. The Reposado rests two months; the Añejo ages up to three years. Two months of oak adds light caramel and vanilla rounding. Three years of dual-oak aging produces deep caramel, dried fruit, and orange complexity that makes the Añejo a sipping expression rather than a cocktail base.

Is 1800 Añejo good value for an aged tequila?

Yes — three years of 100% agave dual-oak aging at the 1800 Añejo price point represents genuine value for the quality tier. Comparable aged expressions from premium brands typically cost significantly more.
