Combier Distillery traces its origins to 1834 when Jean-Baptiste Combier and his wife, local confectioners in Saumur, created the original Combier orange liqueur (the inspiration for triple sec) in their kitchen at 48 Rue Beaurepaire. The Crème de Framboise continues this fruit liqueur tradition with Loire Valley raspberries processed to preserve their natural fresh character without artificial additives.
