Cohiba Spectre Limited Edition 2025 is a rare annual limited release from General Cigar — a medium-profile premium cigar built around a 7-year-aged Havana Connecticut 2017 wrapper and a historic blend that includes the first-ever Criollo '98 tobacco grown in Mao, Dominican Republic, alongside original-seed tobaccos from Cuba's Vuelta Abajo region, presented in a sleek metal tube with a built-in humidity pack and housed in a cylindrical wooden box with a travel humidor at the center.
The Criollo '98 tobacco designation refers to seed stock originating from Cuba's most prized growing region — grown outside Cuba to replicate the leaf character in a different soil and climate. Mao, in the Valverde province of the Dominican Republic, provides a distinct terroir that produces a different expression of the seed than either Cuban-grown or other Dominican tobacco. The 7-year-aged Connecticut wrapper gives the 2025 Spectre a silky texture and golden-brown appearance with the aged depth that multi-year leaf storage produces. The individual metal tube packaging with a humidity pack reflects the Spectre series' commitment to collector presentation — each cigar arrives protected and immediately ready to smoke or store.
