Fortaleza Lot 100 Blanco is a milestone limited edition commemorating the 100th bottling run of Tequila Fortaleza Blanco since Guillermo Sauza IV first distilled the spirit — produced from ripe agave sourced from a single farm in Arandas, Jalisco, and distinctively copper-pot-distilled exactly to 40% ABV with no proofing down, making it one of the only tequilas in existence to be bottled directly at distillation proof without water addition.

The single-farm sourcing from Arandas and the no-proofing-down bottling are what make Lot 100 more than a commemorative expression. Arandas is in the Los Altos (highland) region of Jalisco — a different terroir from Fortaleza's standard Tequila Valley lowland agave — producing agave with more mineral character and natural sweetness. The distillation-to-bottle-proof approach means every drop of what came off the copper pot still is in the bottle without dilution: the olive brine, honeyed roasted agave, fresh hay, and earthy peppery finish are presented at full character intensity.
