Don Julio Reposado is aged 8 months in American white oak barrels — longer than the 2-month minimum for reposado classification — which produces the soft vanilla, caramel, and subtle oak character that distinguishes it from the blanco while preserving the Jalisco Highlands agave freshness that defines the Don Julio profile. The 8-month aging hits the sweet spot between the bright, agave-forward character of the blanco and the richer complexity of the añejo. Raul Urias's fútbol-themed design brings the same energy and color of his acclaimed muralist work to the bottle — a collector's piece for both tequila enthusiasts and fútbol fans in a year when the World Cup comes to North America.
