Brut Gold. Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades — the flagship expression of the Armand de Brignac house, blending a trio of vintages from premier Champagne crus in the iconic polished pewter-finished bottle with the playing card Ace of Spades emblem that made this one of the most recognized luxury Champagne brands in the world.

Armand de Brignac was founded by the Cattier family — one of Champagne's oldest grower-producer families — and gained global recognition when Jay-Z featured it in the 2006 video for 'Show Me What You Got,' subsequently purchasing the brand in 2014. The distinctively metallic bottle contains a multi-varietal blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier from premier and grand cru villages, aged for a minimum of 36 months on lees.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the connection between Armand de Brignac and Jay-Z? Jay-Z featured the gold bottle in his 2006 'Show Me What You Got' video as a statement against Cristal (whose owner had made dismissive comments about hip-hop culture). He subsequently acquired the brand in 2014 and sold a 50% stake to LVMH in 2021.
  • Why is the bottle polished pewter rather than glass? The metallic pewter finish is the brand's signature visual identity — the playing card emblem and metallic sheen make it immediately recognizable. The bottle is designed to be as much a luxury object as the Champagne inside it.
