Is Ardbeg Drum the same as the Drum Committee Release?

No — the standard release is at 52% ABV from ex-rum casks. The Committee Release is the cask strength version (55.9% ABV) available exclusively to Ardbeg Committee members. Both use the same ex-rum cask Caribbean-twist approach but at different bottling strengths.
