Haku is the Japanese craft vodka from the House of Suntory — made from 100% Japanese white rice, distilled in both pot and column stills, and filtered through bamboo charcoal for a clean, soft, and smooth character with a gentle sweet-rice flavor.

The name Haku means “white” in Japanese, a reference to the Japanese white rice at the heart of the spirit; it can also be read as “brilliant,” a tribute to the craft of mastering a clear, clean, luminous vodka. Suntory has been making vodka since 1956, and Haku reflects the company’s philosophy of craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

Production follows three distinct steps. Japanese rice is first fermented and distilled through a pot still to create a rice spirit in Kagoshima. That spirit is then distilled a second time through both pot and column stills to build a uniquely layered liquid. Finally, the blend is filtered through bamboo charcoal in Osaka, yielding the clean, soft, smooth profile and sweet rice note that define Haku.
