Akashi-Tai is a premium Japanese sake brand produced by the Akashi Sake Brewery in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture — the same city as the White Oak whisky distillery. Akashi-Tai produces a full range of traditional sake styles including Junmai Daiginjo, Honjozo, and Shiraume Ginjo Umeshu (plum sake), using rice grown in Hyogo and water from the region's exceptional natural sources. The brand is among the most exported Japanese sake labels in the United States.
