Old Grand-Dad is an 86-proof high-rye Kentucky straight bourbon — first bottled in 1882 and named by third-generation distiller Colonel R.B. Hayden in honor of his grandfather, Basil Hayden.

The higher proportion of rye in the mash bill gives Old Grand-Dad its signature lighter, spicier flavor. The standard 86-proof expression is the everyday bottling — enjoy neat, on the rocks, or in a classic Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
