Taylor Swift’s record label releases vodka
Big Machine Label Group, which counts Taylor Swift and Florida Georgia Line among its talent, has released its first spirit product – Big Machine Platinum Filtered Premium Vodka.
The Tennessee-based record label enlisted Tenn South Distillery in Lynnville to craft the product, which will carry the tagline ‘Pour It On…Turn It Up…Lean In…Or Lean Back…And Indulge’. Big Machine Platinum Filtered Premium Vodka is said to get its “superior freshness” from its “highest quality grains” and “purest Tennessee limestone water”. Tenn South is said to put all its spirits through a proprietary platinum filter for a “smooth and unparalleled taste”. "Over the past 11 years Big Machine has provided the soundtrack to millions of fans worldwide," said Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Label Group president and CEO. "With the launch of Big Machine Premium Vodka, we are now offering a superior product that perfectly complements the music we take such great pride in." During its initial launch period, Big Machine Platinum Filtered Premium Vodka will only be available in the Middle Tennessee region. Further distribution plans and pricing details have not been disclosed. Last year Tenn South Distillery invited a number of liquor store reps to its site as it embarked upon a custom blending programme with its flagship brand, Clayton James Tennessee Whiskey.
