Elijah Craig’s 2026 PGA Championship Bourbon launches
Heaven Hill-owned Elijah Craig has unveiled its commemorative Bourbon for the upcoming 2026 PGA Championship golf tournament.
Elijah Craig is the official Bourbon of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) of America and the 2026 PGA Championship, which will take place between 14-17 May at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The brand has bottled the commemorative Bourbon at 108 proof (54% ABV) to mark the golf major's 108th edition. The liquid came from a small batch of barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery's N and S rickhouses. It has aromas of vanilla, clove, cinnamon and citrus, followed by butterscotch, ripe berries and baking spices on the palate. The finish is described as rich and warm with lingering notes of butterscotch and complex spice. Max Stefka, associate vice-president of global whiskey brands at Heaven Hill, said: "Elijah Craig's strong partnership with the PGA of America brings together the best in golf and the best in Bourbon, and reflects our shared spirit of craftsmanship and dedication. "We look forward to toasting a glass of this 108-proof Small Batch Bourbon to mark the 108th PGA Championship at Aronimink." The bottle features the official 2026 PGA Championship logo in its design alongside Elijah Craig's 'official Bourbon' designation. It is sealed with a gold coin cork bearing the Aronimink Golf Club's official logo. It is available at select retailers nationwide in the US for US$36.99. Ernie Vilar, PGA of America senior director, global partnerships, added: "Elijah Craig plays an instrumental role in bringing the PGA Championship experience to life. "The PGA of America is proud to continue our partnership with this iconic brand, offering spectators both at-home and along the fairways the opportunity to toast this year's historic return to Aronimink with Elijah Craig's award-winning Bourbon." Elijah Craig's involvement in golf has also seen the brand create a Bourbon in honour of last year's Ryder Cup, in which it also sponsored. Scottish professional golfer Robert MacIntyre, meanwhile, is a brand ambassador for Elijah Craig, and the pair teamed up in March for a cheeky campaign in celebration of International Whiskey Day.
