Rocky Patel Vintage Toro 1990 is a medium-bodied premium cigar built around a Honduran wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic fillers — rated 90 by Cigar Aficionado in 2010 for its even draw and very cedary character transitioning to spicy, peppery notes on the finish, measuring 6.5 x 52.

The Vintage 1990 is the bolder sibling to the 1999 — where the 1999 uses a Connecticut wrapper for a lighter, creamier profile, the 1990 uses a Honduran wrapper that produces a richer, darker character with more complexity and spice. Cedar is the defining opening note, transitioning through the mid-smoke to the spicy, peppery close that the Nicaraguan tobacco contributes.
