Nonino L’Aperitivo is produced by Distillatori Nonino in Percoto, Friuli, Italy — a bright saffron-colored aperitivo liqueur built on a grappa base with gentian root, herbs, and natural saffron coloring, distinct from the red/orange aperitivo style dominated by Campari and Aperol. At 17% ABV it is lighter than most amaros and designed specifically for aperitivo service over ice.

The saffron color is natural — Nonino L’Aperitivo uses actual saffron rather than the synthetic colorants used in many aperitivo liqueurs. The gentian root base provides the characteristic bitterness, while the grappa character from the Nonino production base adds complexity. Served over ice with sparkling water or as a Spritz substitute.
