Bolla Amarone della Valpolicella is a rich, concentrated red from the Veneto, made only in exceptional years from partially dried grapes — deep garnet and velvety in the glass, with aromas of wild-cherry jam, spice, and hints of cedar.

Amarone is produced by the appassimento method, drying the grapes for months to concentrate their sugars and flavors before fermentation, producing a dry wine of unusual depth and intensity. Bolla's expression delivers rich, dry, black-cherry flavors and a long, round, persistent finish with notes of cacao and spice. It pairs well with red meats, roasts, grilled dishes, game, braised meats, and well-aged cheeses.
