Nelson Brothers Whiskey is produced at Nashville's historic Green Brier Distillery — the revival of Charles Nelson's original distillery, which was the largest whiskey producer in the South before Prohibition, brought back to life by brothers Andy and Charlie Nelson in 2014 after more than a century of silence.
The Nelson Brothers range spans the Classic Bourbon, the high-proof Reserve, and the Cask Finish Series — limited expressions finished in Oloroso sherry, Imperial Stout beer, Cognac, and Madeira casks — alongside Nelson's Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey, which revives Charles Nelson's original wheated mash bill first bottled in 1909, and the Straight Rye, which brings the brand's creative approach to the rye category. Each expression in the lineup reflects the same philosophy: quality American whiskey from a family restoring one of Tennessee's most storied distilling legacies.

Andy and Charlie Nelson are the great-great-great-grandsons of Charles Nelson, who built the Green Brier Distillery into the largest whiskey producer in the American South before Prohibition shut it down in 1909. The brothers reopened the Nashville distillery in 2014, restoring the family's whiskey legacy after more than 100 years.
It is the revival of Charles Nelson's original wheated mash bill — the recipe the family distillery used until Prohibition. First bottled again since 1909, it uses sugar maple charcoal filtration and new charred oak aging in the traditional Tennessee whiskey style.
