Lamborghini Wine is produced on the historic Lamborghini estate in Umbria, central Italy — founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in the 1960s after he acquired farmland near Lake Trasimeno as a companion to his automotive ventures. Premium Italian red blends, whites, and sparkling wines crafted to reflect the brand’s Italian luxury positioning and estate provenance.

Both share the same founder — Ferruccio Lamborghini — and the same Italian luxury ethos, but they are separate businesses. Ferruccio acquired the Umbrian estate in the 1960s alongside his automotive operations and developed it as a wine and olive oil producer. After his death in 1993, his family retained ownership of the wine estate while the automotive brand passed through several corporate owners (currently owned by Audi/Volkswagen Group). The wine estate remains independent and family-connected.
The estate is situated near Lake Trasimeno in Umbria, central Italy — a wine region producing primarily Sangiovese-based reds, Grechetto whites, and blended IGT wines. The Trasimeno DOC microclimate moderates temperatures through the large lake’s thermal influence, producing wines with more freshness and acidity than much of Umbria’s warmer southern zones.
