Kenwood Vineyards is a Sonoma Valley winery established in 1970, producing Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay from estate and purchased Sonoma County fruit. The prestige Jack London Vineyard series draws from the historic Jack London Ranch on Sonoma Mountain; the Six Ridges series sources Cabernet from Alexander Valley and Chardonnay from Russian River Valley for more focused appellation-specific expressions.

The Jack London Ranch on Sonoma Mountain was the personal estate of author Jack London, who farmed the property from 1905 until his death in 1916. The volcanic mountain soils and elevation produce wines with distinctly different structure and concentration than Sonoma Valley floor fruit — more mineral, more structured, and built for longer aging. Kenwood has farmed the Jack London Vineyard for decades, making their bottlings one of the most established expressions of this historically significant site.
Six Ridges sources from two distinct Sonoma appellations — Alexander Valley for Cabernet Sauvignon (warmer, producing fuller-bodied, more approachable red fruit character) and Russian River Valley for Chardonnay (cooler, fog-influenced, producing higher acidity and more elegant fruit). The Jack London range is about a single historic mountain vineyard; Six Ridges is about the diversity of Sonoma County’s best sub-appellations.
