Jameson Irish Whiskey is the world’s best-selling Irish whiskey, triple-distilled at Midleton Distillery in County Cork since 1780. The signature smoothness comes from triple distillation, a blend of pot still and grain whiskey, and maturation in ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. The lineup includes Original (vanilla, honey, light dried fruit), Black Barrel (twice-charred American oak, butterscotch and spice), Orange (natural orange flavor), Cold Brew (cold brew coffee), Caskmates IPA (hoppy, herbal), Caskmates Stout (cocoa, roasted barley), and the prestige 18 Year Limited Reserve.

Triple distillation removes more congeners than the Scotch standard of two distillations — the third pass through the still strips out heavier, harsher compounds and produces a cleaner, lighter spirit. The blend of pot still (creamy, spicy, oily) and grain whiskey (lighter and softer) adds complexity without weight. Ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry cask maturation then adds the vanilla, honey, and dried fruit character.
Jameson’s premium flagship expression — the Original triple-distilled blend finished in twice-charred (double-seasoned) American oak barrels. The second charring layer caramelizes more wood sugars and releases additional vanilla, butterscotch, and toasted grain character that the standard ex-bourbon casks don’t produce at the same intensity. The most complex and gift-worthy Jameson in the everyday lineup.
Irish whiskey — not bourbon. Made from a combination of malted and unmalted barley in Ireland, triple-distilled in copper pot stills, and aged a minimum of three years in used wooden casks. Lighter and smoother than bourbon, which must be made from a minimum 51% corn mashbill and aged in new charred American oak.
